K any of you got a crack for the authorization for WINXP home edition...

I have the o/s bought, its just i have it installed on my laptop, but i want to upgrade and overhaul my old amd athlon for production purposes, and i can't double install the damn CD because after years of actually allowing u to own the OS Microsoft decided they'd squeeze more money out of the consumer :/

Yeh alot of those keygens have trojans attached to them, or they dont even work at all.. Was wondering if anyone had a working one that isn't infested like last weeks tuna.

if it's a laptop the best solution is to back up all of your files off it, drop in a copy of XP Pro SP2 (from wherever) use the install program to blow away your partition and make a new one and format it (the long way) and then install XP pro.

clean, fresh installs of windows are fastest
