i have to say this....
the lotus is one of the best clubs in town. of course the sounds sucks near the bar, YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO HEAR IT ON THE DANCEFLOOR.
not only does it have a wicked vibe to it, and it sounds good, but the staff are kickass too. keep in mind, obviously my opinion is biased now, since i do a night there, but i''ve been preaching to people about the lotus for years.
other thing to mention.... just cause you've been there once, doesn't mean the sound is like that. on big shows, lots of dj's like to puch the levels way too far, altho i didn't think aphrodite did that that much, it was fairly decent. but come out on a local night (like our 6 year ann.) and you'll see why our night is having a 6 year ann. party at all. i'm almost dreading the new soundsystem, cause i had no complaints about the old one, other than the monitors, which only the dj's have to deal with.

not only that: The Lotus is the only club to have ever held a night for 6 concecutive years. No other club in Van City (even a top 40 night) has EVER come close. Plus the club just got even better w/ the new smoking ban.

Is Eghty5, some random punter, going to tell a loyal group of lotus patrons that the club sucks? meh.

Gosh, maybe if you spent time doing something other than buying drinks, or smoking joints in the back, you would've experienced good sound? You know, like, if you were there for the music and not to get messed up? That kind of thing?
