this is part where the elitist beer drinker would say that the taste of Guinness is complex and mature. Such a taste isn't easily aquired. Especially if you started drinking weak-ass lagers and lite-beers. Think of it this way: If you learned how to drive on a civic with Traction & Slip Control and then you tried to drive a 500HP Porsche with no driver assists you'd bitch about it being tail happy and difficult to drive.
Since I'm not a beer elitist I'll just say you need to drink progressively darker beers before you can really enjoy a Guinness. Try some Pale Ales. |
