lol my grandpa used to play bocce competitively...
but they dont play in sand, they play on a kinda gravely surface, its like the tennis red chalk courts...but not red.... somewhere between soft and hard surface, but more towards hard surface |

oh yes one more thing...
who here pronouces it BOCH - EE lmao, omg everytime i hear someone pronouce it that way i get a grandious smile on my face whilst trying not to laugh out loud.. i can never get enough of incorrect pronounciation, especially across languages...its my comedial soft spot for example i wuz havin dinner at il giardino this past saturday, and the waiter comes up and he's reading out some special menu items...and he comes across the word 'tagliatelli'...and almost emphasizes the 'G'.... i immediately look at my brother sittin next to me who has the same big ass smile on his face....ALSO biting his tongue tryin not to laugh....cuz of course it would be embarassing for the waiter... |
