I'm a BC Hydro Powersmart Representative from May til August, works perfect with my plans for the Summer and School.

Accenture eh... hmmm I'm not sure if I want to be 'out sourced' :p I'm looking for a new job right now -- I think I may apply at powerex.

^^^ its kinda hard being "outsorced" but its a change thats not entirely that bad


accenture has tried to keep a lot of the same things as bc hydro, and we work directly with hydro

i've hardly noticed a difference since switching companies

Outsorcing is definitely the way to go right now for companies so I totally get it. At least they kept the jobs here!

If you don't mind me asking you guys, what are you positions and wages (you can pm me if you want to). haha. I'm such a baby -- I really feel stuck where I am and don't want to go through process of getting a new job, find out it's essentially the same, but with less pay :P Where do you work out of? How is the environment? Do you think it's a good place to work? Are there advancement opportunities?

to be honest with you though i do feel kind of stuck in my job. because of the outsourcing, we can only move within customer service related departments and there aren't that many of them. no complaints about the pay, or the benefits. both are awesome.
