The drinks are sold at cost.

For most bars it costs about 75 cents to make a highball, that's including staffing, alcohol, mix and all that other good stuff.

They don't make any money on the highballs, but that's just to get people in the door, the raised rates of all the other beverages work out to compensate the owners with an average weeknight as opposed to a dead one.

PS - Free booze couldn't get me to set foot in the Ozone.
