He got beat by Toney too. Toney couldn't KO him, probably he doesn't have real KO power at this weight class. Lights Out definetely landed the harder, cleaner shots though.

John Ruiz now has the laughable distinction to lose TWO heavyweight titles to a former middleweight (he also lost a heavyweight title to Roy Jones a couple of years ago). What makes that hilarious is that a former middleweight has only won a heavyweight title THREE times in history, and the other time was in 18 fucking 97!
