Were you working at the Burnaby BC Hydro building today?

If you were, I think I saw you walk right by our Power Smart display! How could you just avoid such useful information and pass up a free folding(!!!)frisbee!?!

folding frisbees????

how come I wasn't informed about these frisbees of the folding variety???

I was pretty amazed when I first saw them. They're made of this weird plastic rim with a nylon centre. You twist them up a few times and they fit into a case about as big as a Skoal can.

Nooooooooo! Wish you woulda come. I totally could have assaulted you with information. I staked out the elevators so the Hydro employees couldn't get to lunch without learning! Muahahahaha!

Gah! I guess I got the bad shift. Everyone kept telling me, "I'll come back after lunch". I figured it was just a way to nicely avoid me, I didn't think they really meant it.

my favourite part was when this one chick was all amazed that we KNEW answers. im like 'yah... because we work for HYDRO'. silly goose.

Haha, people were stumping me with questions and I was just taking passports and handing out foldy frizz's (I just made that name up... I think I'll submit a report for it to be the official name).

Which one actually is more Power Smart: watching TV with the taps running and the fridge door open or turning off the lights when you leave a room?

i had no idea what i was getting myself into when i first pulled out my 'foldy frizz'... it almost took my head off.

do you work in the tower? we do lunch at noon in the cafe, or outside on the patio if its nice out. you should crash our lunch crew!

Yeah our office is on the 4th floor. We'll be there in and out though cause our time is split between organizing events in the office and attending them around the lower mainland.

Dunno when lunch'll be, but I'll let you know when I find out and I'll keep my eye out for you and Krista.

Hey Miska, does Hydro still have cheap Friday lunches on the patio?

I went there one time with a couple times with my coworkers at Immigration and it was pretty wicked..
