Oh, that's not what he has said on Much Music before, but I don't blame him for not wanting to look like a marketing puppet ;)

its all a gimic.. do ya think he would tell his fans the truth?.. half of his fans are portuguese girls.. and if he told the truth they would think of him as a sell out..
when ur portuguese, gossip spreads and ur looked down upon in the village and the portuguese community... especially if ur famous... and the portuguese community in Toronto is more active then here, even though BC has the most populated portuguese people in Canada.
