hope the painkillers are treating you well and your back is a bit better.

i start work at 5.30, meaning i won't be able to call you after 6 but i figured you'd check in here at some point.

i doubt i'll be able to make it to the fireworks, but if it's slow and i get off early i'll give you a call and maybe i can meet up with you.
