mojo - your inbox is full so heres your pm in post form
Im having a bit of a rough go at it. Im living with the school principal and his wife - they seem very well off and treat me like a princess but the language barrier here is huge. Even my host family who has the most english knowledge of anyone Ive met here only understands a few words and Ive resorted to drawing everything. The students are highschool kids and honestly dont want to learn english. They wont do anything. They just talk amongst themselves in thai. I have yet to see one white person. Im lonely and my bedroom is full of red ants that bite me in the night. Only 36 days left:S Cheers Sheena |

ghetto.
go to a chemist and try to buy this little packet of ant chalk. its about 4 inches long by one and has pics of ants on it....red and white and maybe some yellow. you outline your doors and windows and whatnot and they wont cross it. i found it a few days ago and cried a solemn tear. the shit is amazing..it stopped the super highway running through my room. i dont know what to say friend...i wih you the best with it, and ur right. its only 36 more days. fuck this keyboard is shit. anyways, try to enjoy your self Sheena:) _mike |

how was it though? would you do it again...maybe under different circumstances? |
|
|||
yeah thats the odd thing
I really liked being able to be a whole new person with no baggage or pre concieved personality. I came back to a job that I really enjoy but Im pretty restless. Everyone I know stayed exactly the same. Plus I had to wear socks and gloves to bed last night and still caught a giant cold!!! Turn down the rain - turn up the heat! When are you coming back? |
