Promoters w/ flyer bitches outside Sonar last night
Not sure what night it was for, but whoever has a scrawny kid with a Cammo hoodie and white hat on last night needs to have a chat with him about approach.
As I was heading through the flyer gauntlet after Pendulum, this little punk, apparently not understanding how people don't generally enjoy having shit shoved in their face, decided to try something different with me. He grabbed the collar of my shirt, shook me, knocked me in the lip, and pushed a flyer down the front of my shirt. Having been on a strong dosage of Dr. Jagger's elixir, it took me a fair bit to realize what had just happened. It only fully clicked in when everyone that I talked to afterwards asked me what had happened to my lip. I know he didn't mean to hit my lip and he was likely just trying to be funny in his pea-brained little way, but all that matters to me is the fat lip I have now. In retrospect I should have knocked him out where he stood. The more I think of it now, the more I regret not doing it. I'm assuming he just took me for some random loner kid leaving the bar, because he was immediately all apologies once he noticed that the dozen people leaving behind me were my close friends. Your flyer kids are representatives of your night and their actions reflect on you. If I can figure out what he was flyering for I, my brother and my crew will not be supporting you. And now that I realize how badly he stretched the shirt that my girlfriend JUST gave to me I really do hope I see him again.

on the real though, flyer bitches have been getting more and more aggressive. stand back and hold your flyer, if someone wants it they'll take it. no sweat, dont shove that shit in peoples faces. patrons, dont take it and throw it on the ground right in front of the flyer bitch, if you dont want a flyer, dont take one...i had this fairy bitch motherfucker grab one and throw it on the ground and say "i didnt ask for a flyer!!"...anyways i made him pick it up and apologize then sent him on his merry way.

man, i remember that flyer guy! i dont remember him wearing what you said, but i remember flyers in shirts i was so drunk and promoting for my show and he came up to me and told me to put flyers in peoples shirts. i was ok.... you must be really wasted.. if someone did that to me, RIGHT STOMPED they would be. I just laughed drunkinly about it and went back to flyering AKEEL yes, you are so right about people flyering needing to back off. I flyer and I have noticed that latley, its like a mad compitition to see who can bombard the people first. I drives me nuts cuz it forces me to be aggressive to or i stompled on. fuck, anyone that knows me, knows Im so not into putting effort out for other peoples stupid aggression... to much effort fuck smoke a joint then flyer!

Unless the guy was misrepresenting who he was working for, he was promoting for Vivid. He got all defensive when we were telling him that what he was doing was bullshit, and he said that he's been doing it for 2 years and no one pays any attention otherwise. He then asked me "have you ever heard of vivid??", to which we replied yes. of course. He then mentioned Vivid a few more times when trying to back himself.
When things got more intense afterwards he infact offered Dave a guestlist spot for Richie Hawtin. We turned it down and said that wasnt the point. So whether or not this guy works for Vivid, Vivid has some work to do. You either got a flyer guy whos assaulting patrons, or you got some chump trying to put his bullshit behaviour on your shoulders. Either way, if I see this guy ever flyering for any company, we will no longer attend their events.
