Why are there so many threads about these trivial Junglist cliches? Why do people say any sort of phrase over and over again? Which happens quite often but it is all in good fun. I''m sure many people from sonar last night could attest to that.

some of you people need to understand, junglist affectations like boh, rewind, and barking actually come from the reggae/dancehall/soundclash scene,
Bo! - Simulated gunshot. When a tune is big, say this loud if you want a rewind. In Jamaica, people used to fire blanks all the time when a tune was big. much the same way as how reggae/dancehall is inflencing hip hop these days, the slang terms and usages were adopted by the jungle scene in the 90's, mostly because of the heavy influence of dub and reggae in our basslines, and samples

^ Thx for explaining that to the curious masses Dabbler. Some people just lack knowledge of certain cultures or refrain from looking into the history of music. Hip-hop heads "boh" aswell, MC's in hip-hop boh on their tracks from time to time at time its sounds like "blau!" but it still shows the same appretiation "BOH" does.

Thats just what they do. I thought it was kind of funny when I heard the crowd saying it, but really its not anything different then someone yelling yeeeeeeeeahhhhhhh or wooooooooooooooooo at a concert or club when the tune goes insane.
When you hear boh its a sign to the dj that your rippin it.
