remember that really cool techno-y orchestral song in the matrix reloaded on the highway scene (or as i like to call it, "we paid to build this highway that looks like none other. we're gonna film it!")? it's called mona lisa overdrive (which, by the way, is a fucking GLORIOUS book by william gibson) and it's by ben watkins and... uh... (checks google...) don davis. all the crazy synthy stuff is watkins' work. what about traci lords? hahah. pr0n star decides she's gonna record an album... gets together with ben watkins and does vocal work for a track called "control". the instrumental sans lords, so basically juno reactor's portion of it, makes it onto the mortal kombat soundtrack (fucking cool techno song while raptor's fighting). traci lords version with the vocals isn't too bad, really. |

since it hasn't been posted yet, here's the very annoying, obvious, ever-occuring, obligatory "just go to google you frickin imbecile!" response:
heeey there, familiar with google? here's the address..incase you have forgotten...or didn't know in the first place http://www.google.ca you can just click on that and it will pop up for you. you can use your m-o-u-s-e and k-e-y-b-o-a-r-d to type in the word "trance", make sure you spell it right, i know this is hard, we will get through it together though..stay strong. now, hit enter, and magical things will happen!...if you get a little overwhelmed with the whole search engine process http://www.googleguide.com might be able to help you through it at an even slower pace... i just thought i'd get rid of that, so no one else had to post it repetative times. wasting possible intelectual space on the forums, but now that i've got it out and i'm over it...here's some real answers: - put on your pants, get off the computer, and go to a club! - if that doesn't satisfy you, take a trip to frankfurt, they'll love you over there. - digitallyimported.com...open iTunes and surf through all their trance streams, there's a pretty wide variety of crap. - you can also try going to a trance DJ's website that you like, look under their links and get connected with other artists who are like them, that you'll probably like - even amazon.com has samples of trance music to listen to, so you can get artists and titles you like, then hope you have good luck in trying to find them for DL on limewire. - also don't be a cheap ass and stand there reading mixmag at chapters, actually take it to the cashier and pay $12 for it, as it might have some newer trance tunes for your pleasure - buy some various artist trance cd's, i have "a trip in trance vol 1&2" they seemed good at the time...but now, they sound kind of el..shitty, but i'm sure there's lots of new stuff if you go to HMV or better yet A&B sound. - trance is everywhere!!!!! |
