Anybody who was out last week know's that this is quickly become a thursday night hot spot.

You take 2 of Canada's biggest Dj's, toss in cheap drinks and free reign on the decks you've got something special.

I've seen a few of you down there.

for sure, it's always good times, it's cheap drinks, it's sans the regular weekend plaza crowd and it's two of the best djs in this city throwing down whatever the fuck they want to.

it's funny, in those cheezy DJ interviews/questionaire's, where they ask you "who inspired you to DJ" I used to always answer: David Hawkes and Czech :-) Now I can catch them both @ Plaza... now only if David still DJ'd... I guess that's my job to try and fill in his shoes :-)

I hauled Hawkes out of retirement a few weeks ago.

I made him throw down a couple tracks before the dj's showed up just to prove he still had it.

Yeah, I was with him in the office when he was deciding which destinations to hit up.

Hawkes has been to Thailand 14 times so he was showing me and czech some pretty nifty places.

The guy apparently doesn't like beaches, something about not being able to bring his drink in the ocean with him. :P
