Ya i hate when i bring my odd turnips to a movie and they get all warm from sitting in my lap.
I'm always like " Damn I wish I had a cooler for my odd turnips". You guys listen to clearist, he just may be onto something.

If you guys really want to do this, I have a lounge in gastown we can use for it. It has a big projector screen, we can bring inour own movies, I have azureus and download movies that are still in theatres. so, we could go for dinner adn drinks at the lounge and watch a movie or a hockey game, whatever. it would be all people from fnk or related friends. it can hold 35 people comfortabley. and we could do it for free cuz I am incharge of event planning there! we should do this! pm me if interested. i am posting about it in the classifieds section for renting out for private functions. this would be cheaper for everyone then going to a movie and we would get to know each other alot better! it would be fun! we can even get together there before a big show or something. !!!

Should i make a thread again, people kept writing bullshit in it so then i deleted it, cuz people started to take it as a joke. i got an offer from an FNKer to use her Lounge, they have a projector so we can take our own movies. How does that sound?
I was thinking of dinner too. But movies or the Lounge idea? But i have to ask whether it is available in the weekends cuz im really really busy in the weekdays for the whole day. well its good that there is still interest. and it will go through soon, its jus that i guess this coming sunday was too soon.

YES!
you can book it on a weekend. and we can do dinner too. It is connected to a wicked intalian restaurant, we have burgers and appy's too, and a bar. I have a program on my computer to download bran new movies, even movies still in theatres, i dont mind burning a dvd and bringing it down. but shh, its like copyright infringment or whatever, lol Think of a date, and get back to me, Ican help you promote and make up invites and flyers if needed, we can pay for most of it too. We just want to see the place get used!! its perfect for what you want to do!!

ya you dont really need to flyer for this at all. It is just friends, and a perfect size for jsut a meeting of friends to chill. Unless you want to make up invitations to give to certain people. If your interested in that, I have alot of sponsors, maybe we can get some giveaways going. And as for other promoters showing up, they dont need to. During the day, we have turned the place into an info cafe, so there is an area for flyers and tickets being sold, but no one is passing them out at you, they are there if you want them, just like they sit in record stores, lol.
