A very busy month in burlesque...
This is for all of you who somehow have never made it to a show of mine... I may have not told you about it, or told you last minute, or it was hard to get to or you were borke... well, NO MORE OF THAT!
I have so many shows coming up, in so many different and some very easy to access venues that you better all try your best to be there! And I'm not just telling this because I want your money but because I want to share this with you, trust me you wont be dissapointed! -Taboo Sex Convention- *Jan 12-15*, permorning twice a day and also manning a booth. We will be selling merch, pasties, lingerie, pictures and tickets to our upcoming shows. -Burlesque Tribute to B-movies- *Every saturday in the month of January (7, 14, 21, 28) Raymond Burr theatre in New west (it is literally across the street from columbia station for all of you with driving or drinking obstacles). Speaking of drinking this is a theatre so it has seats AND a BAR but you don't need Id to get in. doors at 9, show at 10. Tickets 12.50 at door. -Vancouver international Burlesque Festival- February 9-12th so far venues are as follows: 9th *Rock and roll neo-burlesque night hosted by www.littlemissrisk.com at the Red Room on Richards. Including a performance from Big John bates and their past and present voodoo dolls (this hasn't been confirmed for the festival but I just may be The newest Voodoo doll!) 10th * Sassquerade! a tribute to the golden age of burlesque, Hosted by precious productions and Sweet Soul Burlesque at the Wise Hall. 11th * Vulgar Vaudeville Variety Show, hosted by Screaming Chicken at -the- most vaudeville venue in Bc, The raymond Burr Theatre. For information, tickets, performance inquiries and ticket info please visit www.vanburlesquefest.com -Valentines Festival Encore- Feb 14th at the wise Hall.. more info tba. WE also have a press party two weeks before the Festival (YES A FREAKING PRESS PARTY) but well.. unless your press or getting undressed you can't come!

i actually have been very interested in checkin out one of these shows!!! i have noone who wants to go or knew where they were. Now i know where i can find them. i might come check this out:)

we're actually giving out alot of free tickets for the first showing of bmovies at the theatre just to get people out and supporting us. Plus the energy we get from a packed house really gets us going!

Do you have shawnas number? I ran into her at timbers and told her about all the shows coming up but didnt have flyers or exact info so I told her I'd call her to remind her.

^thanks. I want to get her to come to our theatre show too, she said her and her mom love the theatre. Hopefully our brand of theatre isnt too dirty for her mom.
Then again we had the mayor, city council, now newspaper, and a very tiny and very old woman in the audience lastnight and they absolutely loved it. Then again I dont if the politicians like us because we are smart dirty or if its just because we are hot. :P SO, 1 show down and 3 to go. I didn't see any of you there lastnight but I hope to in the upcoming nights, I can't stress how much we need your support. We really need to prove ourselves to the city and the people running the theatre that we can fill the seats. And you'll seriously have SUCH a blast... we had people rolling in the isles lastnight!
