Musicians wanted.

Looking for a drummer/percussionist (on a kit, or bongos, anything as long as they're not afraid to beat the shit out of em once in awhile), and a bass player, in the Chilliwack area. Of course, this does not exclude any other instruments; those are just the necessities. Must hate Simple Plan, Theory of a Deadman, Creed, etc.

I'm looking to jam and write music (no more than the odd cover), and must have an open mind to all sorts of music. I'm looking at writing a blend of blues, rock n roll, psychedelia, reggae, grunge, klezmer, jazz, punk (no wannabe-punk emo kids wanted.. keep your Good Charlotte records to yourselves), folk, metal, noise rock, and I am always willing to learn other styles.

I've got a studio set up in Harrison, with a soundboard, heavy duty multi-channel amp, monitors, and mics.. and soon I'll have a computer set up for recording purposes. It should be jam-ready by next weekend, but I'll be in the city for Kick It, so sometime after that.

haha, sometimes it's impossible to jam on em, yeah. but usually I write some pretty jazzy stuff when I'm on them.. too bad I have such a hard time playing them once I sober up. I've done some recording on them as well; it usually turns out great.. they help my hands move as fast as my brain, and make my arthritis feel nonexistent.

for what i could contribute to a jam sesh:
i play my custom synth patches via midi controller
i play harmonica (blues)
I write lyrics.

all the other instruments i play I'm still very new to.(acoustic guitar, piano, bass)

copious marijuana smoking is a requirement.

I could use a harp player. I usually jam out improv blues 90% of the time. And I thought copious amounts of marijana smoking was part of being a jam musician. You gonna be at Kick It?
