i'm seeing some great bumper stickers here all of which sport a large image of the american flag of course.
stuff like. "NUKE the bastards" or "i'm american, i feel the pain" it changes daily but i think i'll be home within a month. but now i've been offered some pretty cool jobs in New York, Chicago and LA. when i decide i can handle the american way again then i'll take one of the offers. |

^ Yeah, I've come to that conclusion after further consulting reality. heh heh
Amelia: Rad! Go for the best job... lol when are you going to be in Dubai training Arabians? Angel: I might still come out... I get benefits on WestJet that are killer with my second job. |

haaaa arabians.
no thanks. i'd be there to run a horse in the dubai world cup. the richest race in the world, i just want to go to watch. the purse for that race is 6 million. now those are some nice ponies. i'm heading to seattle in the middle of next week. i'll be living in seattle and working for the boyfriend there while i work on my citizenship. no no. i'm hoping to be a mix breed by applying for dual. otherwise i can get a work visa from the boyfriends dad because of his vet practice.
it looks like i'll be flying out in two days. i got a call last night when i was shamefully drunk in the bar, it was my boss telling me to get to the barn and have everything packed by 7am because the van would be there to pick the horses and all our tack up. yeah, that didn't end well. i did alot of packing early early this morning when i was less drunk. but they loaded up, an hour late and now they're somewhere in the bay area for the night. |

it didn't rain for almost 140 days i think the temps during the day averaging the high 70's to high 80's. then a lovely flashflood. the whole city shuts down when it rains, kinda like van if we get any snow. i was suntanning on christmas day but now it's getting really warm, into the 90's and during the afternoon it's sticky hot. the dry sucks, my lips chapped when i got here and the horses tails are poofed up like your hair when you touch that electric ball at sciencworld. they were shedding (we had body clipped them so that they weren't uncomfortable in the heat) and when i took my rubber shedding brush to them they got zapped repeatedly to the point that they hated being brushed.
but the dust is probably the worst i've seen, it's not really windy in phoenix, but when the wind blows the air is one big sandstorm. the pollution is as bad as LA, and i've got what they call valley fever, you get muscle cramps and aches in your joints. my boss got very very sick here and wound up in the ER. the pollution is one of the main reasons i'm glad i'm leaving here, you feel so unhealthy and cough like i still smoke. |

Wow, sounds pretty shitty! lol
Apparently here they have problems in the Summer with pollution as well. Not really looking forward to that as like you; I'm outside all the time. Ah well, we'll see what happens in a month or so. Once the temps start hitting 11+ I'll be a bit happier. |
