YES agreed! I used to have to work in such a shit hole position as baggage handler - and when someone doesn't show up on time - their bags have to be pulled. After stacking a "pit" full of hundreds of bags perfectly, they all have to be checked 1 by 1 and the organization of them all is completly destroyed. So basically, all the other passengers shit gets thrown around with little regard for what valuables may be in those bags. The objective: Find the bag and find it FAST so the plane can get the fuck out of there. It is one of the things you dread most working in that industry. Thank god im out of it.

How rough are you guys with luggage at pearson? My parents bought a bunch of expensive china on their last trip to T_dot, and despite the balls of tissue paper and bubble wrap , a bunch of stuff was broken. I'm holding you personally responsible.

We don't go out of our ways to smash things, but shit happens. Yesterday there were a couple Bags that fell a good 10' off the Beltloader and landed on the Ramp.

I always tell People, if you value it, take it on your Carry-On. They laugh... until they lose a Bag or it gets mutilated. Then I laugh.

Nothing like a good "I TOLD YA SO!"

Can't count how many times I've gone to grab a Suitcase only to have the Handle, Strap, Pocket, Flap, Wheels just bust or tear off.
