Nice list but wtf are Ladytron and Goldfrapp doing there? They're Disco Punk/Electroclash, not trip-hop. Most of their music is upbeat rock-style tunes. Telepopmusic is almost excusable but they're still falling under "house" in my books.

I'll also mention Olive.

I'm a huge Mark Farina fan. Mushroom Jazz 1 was what got me into downtempo and coupled with Drum n Bass, got me into electronic music entirely

The list was originally part of another list which was like a big group of girly vocally, trip hop, etc. :P I just lumped a bunch of groups I liked all together so I wouldn't be breaking it into a ton of different genres.

Goldfrapp's earlier stuff was more trip hoppy and less electro-y. Actually kind of preferred them back then...

Check out King Black Acid if you can find it. They're a Portland band that can best be described as space-rock. They made the soundtrack to the Mothman Prophecies.
