DJ Vadim / Ab Rude tour date
Appears they will be at Richard's on Oct. 6, according to Vadim's myspace. This is most distressing to me as i will be in San Francisco at that time. They don't play there til the 19th, after i get back.

anyways, i can't reccommend highly enough that everyone attend this show. 'Sound Catcher' is Vadim's best work to date, and would probably get my vote for 'album of the year' in any genre. Plus, his live shows are legendary. Last time i saw him was years ago @ Sonar with Kela, Blu Rum & Plus One... playing like a full live band with only turntables & voice. One of the best shows i've seen, hands down. And i've seen more shows than most of you have had hot meals (because i'm old).

He played an awesome set here at The Plaza in May of last year.

Definitely a show worth checking out.

Agreed on his Plaza show last year. Pretty unreal.

Blu Rum 13 was with him, and some chick whose name I can't really remember. Probably best female MC I've ever seen live.

just got back from the Beatstreet in-store demo - all three of them were there. It was awesome. Stoked for tonight!
