yeh you can't imagine was great. It had higher production levels but the lyrics weren't as poetic as the older stuff, as i remember. I dunno about this new album though, hasn't been doing much for me either. I'll have to give it a closer listen though.

plastic cups have been in effect for a long time, first time i noticed it was at the ministry show # 2 in 05, supposedly ministry show #1 was what caused the plastic cup rule.

the show was fucking amazing.

Let me just say.. Abstract Rude was a really good opening act and Slug is still a stud. I also thought it was cool how ant was just chillin out by the bar pre-show chattin people up :)

They played a good mix of old and new songs, my favourite drops of the night being Shrapnel, and Sunshine. I was hoping he'd do The Stick Up from Headshots: Se7en.. but I've never seen or heard of him doing that live, so I wasnt too dissapointed.

Sincerely hope this isn't their last tour but I have a feeling it might be.

uhhh, last week a friend went and there were no plastic cups. I assume they made the choice based on the type of show. Aesop rock show didn't have them in use, last night was the first time I've ever seen that at the Commodore and I go there fairly often.

Also, that would be more like Ministry #6 and #7 for Vancouver, unless you are only talking about Commodore shows.

Yeh they do that on a show to show basis. I can't remember what show i was at but the bartender told me it was because the band had requested it. Perhaps a bad experience in the forehead?
