i dont think anybody is defending 'big willie' right now, but just cause this nig aint chattin about escalades and sluts and drugs doesnt mean he doesnt have all sorts of talent. in good hiphop, your words dont need to amount to how good you are, because your raw obvious talent should do all the talking for you.

To revisit an old spat:
I do see the Skee-lo similarities but the humour is funnier, the wordplay is miles better, and note that while "I wish" relied on a catchy as hell hook, this track is hook free. And General I searched out a few more tracks and they were definitely good but nothing grabbed me like "Old Prince". But then.. I don't really listen to much hip hop anymore so what do I know |

One of my favourite hip hop artists of today. I haven't been able to stop listening to this album since I got it. He's really down to earth and a funny guy, which contributes to why I like his work so much. He takes time to sit back and chill with fans. Check his youtube videos where he's just chilling at the studio, talking about his upcoming albums.
Tons of rappers rap about being "not that awesome" though, or about being poor (Blu & Exile anyone?) It's nothing new but it's always fun to hear. Last edited by stabmyhead; Sep 23, 08 at 07:54 AM. Reason: Total fob English somewhere in this post. |
