scratching....
uhhh.....
juss a lil question... i see ppl using the cross-fader when they scatch... but i don't get it....i've tried it..but i don't really notice a difference...using or not using it.. or maybe i'm juss using it wrong... answers?? |

well if this helps........The crossfader is used to switch channels from left and right.......so when scratching......the fader is used to cut off the back scratch or just the sound you don't want, from either channels......then when you are comfortable at doin this ......you can start trying different variations...ie:transforming(tapping the fader alittle faster to get a chopy sound), crabs(hitting the fader with three fingers,simotanuesly..to get a crisp tripple sound effect...i think thats how it's explained...but u'll no what i mean...)then there's many more without using the fader at all.......so just try the basic of getting control over the fader the start trying different things...HOPE THAT HELPS...
