online scratch battles?
i got this idea from another messageboard i frequent
we can battle each other by posting 1 or 2 minute scratches to a beat wont really be a battle i guess.. i dont want to start a competition or anything, i just think i'd be fun! plus if we hear a scratch we havent heard before we can inquire on how its done who's up for this?

We use to do this in 98 or 99 we had sessions on mplayer or paltalk and all the skratch djs from the old I.S.P #skratchdjs channel on IRC would join in. it was fun and worked well but you would always get yur weridos in there and what not but it seemed to work. Id be up for doing it once I get my set up again.

Think i started cutting around 97 or so I stopped for a bit so I would get that motivation to practice again.
Unfortunately the channel died when ISP broke up. It was cool alot of people came threw and were in that channel from dstyles , alias and alot more. you would learn alot but it was mostly just like any other irc channel go in there and just talk about whatever. haha mostly everyone from that channel is now found on friendster , *shakes fist at friendster*
