the hype is there but if its so simple to just have some "random" dj play the "same music" then wow why isn't every trance dj as good as paul van dyk? can you mix like paul van dyk? can you program your sets like he can? cuz if you could then you'd be pretty damn popular. so enough of this talk please it really is getting old. sure, djs play other peoples music its a fact. but people arnt fuckin stupid either to be all hyped up about some "dj" if it was so damn simple in the first place. theres ALOT more to it than just playing tracks that even the average dj doesnt have a clue about. the possibilities are fuckin endless! i know you're a good guy who dedicates alot to the scene but the way you talk down djs doesnt do the scene any good.

true but he doesn't do that. with his skills on the turntables, he doesn't need to.
i'm a big PVD fan and he still blows me away every time i hear his live mixes. i used to think djing was just as simple as you put it but haha wow.... definetly not...
