so whose planning on making the pilgrimage out to shambalah this year? i know me and a large portion of my crew are pretty intent. tickets this year are $150 and available at bassix, the cap is limited to 6000 and there ais going to be no door sales. also it takes place august 15 16 17...

im gonna be there...who else is?

You know it man!! Everyone that I talk to back in Calgary seems down too. WOOOO!! Anyone down for a week or so of post-Shambhala camping somewhere so that we might rejoin reality a bit before our return? Last year it was pretty necessary :284:

I went last year and it was by far the BEST party I have ever been to!!

The set up is absolutely nuts! and the vibe is unbelieveable!!

im trying to get better organized for this year and rent an RV cause lots of people had them last year...

but wow!!!

this party is definately worth $150 for 3 days of partying and apparently they are gonna spend more cash on DJ's this year

^ absolutely!! you dont 'rave' for 3 days straight, you party at night and in the day you chill by the river or go into town , shower and hit up the bar for lunch like I did!!!

Basically your camping for 3 days in the boonies and each night you have an ill outdoor rave to hit up

yeah man im thinkin it would be dope if we left the lower mainland on the wednesday before and then come back the wednesday after so we'd have a few days of camping before and after the party...

i know ill be cool with it because ill be taking those two weeks off of work..but i don't know about many of the others...especially since they all have the habit of working at the smae place/

^well even if just a few of us go early, I have a buddy who might be able to get some of us in on Wednesday or Thursday so we can get a good camping area for when everyone else arrives. And those who want to take a few extra days after can as well. I know I'll be quitting my job (whatever it may be) the week before so I'm pretty flexible.
