Sooo the guys that are doing Shattered decided to do another party on the same night.... why the same night...well I dunno, you'd have to ask them...seems kinda dumb to me....but just my humble oppinion... But hey which ever one you chose to go to...*solace* Enjoy both parties should be lots of fun

Just to clear a few things up here...
We'd initially posted about the throwing a party on June 28th back on April 28th (as you can see from the Promo post date posted). We had a few troubles organizing out of town DJs and by the time we'd sorted it all out Solace had been announced either the day before or after or same day... I'm not entirely sure when. We contacted the promoters of Solace to see if we could combine parties and not have a repeat of what happened the day we threw Fractured.
The Solace team said we were unable to combine parties because they'd already put down a deposit on the venue they were to use and they weren't allowed to have two stages (they'd hoped in doing a second stage themselves). Since we'd already invested money in out of town talent and he'd (The Dowlznick) had already gone to great lengths to reschedule prior bookings we couldn't change the date of our party.
Therefore both parties couldn't change dates which left you guys up to deciding which party you wanted to attend.
Ryan and myself would never intentionally throw a party on the same date as another having gone through this before with Fractured (another event we did try to merge when we found out another party was going on that day). We're all small promoters and we understand the effects of two events or more going off on the same day.
It was really just a case of bad luck and all the promoters understood this. There wasn't much either of our teams could do but go on with our separate events and wish each other luck.
