It breaks my heart to see the lack of compassion and emotion that people can demonstrate to eachother. It makes one wonder at the direction the beliefs and morals of modern society have been laid for future generations to follow. How will the mother Teresa's and Mahatma Gandhi's of tomorrow have a fighting chance to set an example for betterment of the masses as the building blocks of todays beleifs and morals are abandoned to bring about the personal goals of the ego of one's own self? At what expense are these destroyed, what and who-how-high-up will need to be betrayed before rules previously discarded are militantly applied in the attempt to protect what they cannot control? Is the thought of guilt, a conciounce, no longer a viable threat to prevent actions that should never have been questioned or previously thought of? Where are the morals: Honesty - that a friend, loved one, or confident would not fear anger in retribution of speaking the truth in not just every day areas, but areas concerning the heart as well Trust - in eachother and in ones own self. Respect - for the fact that, "We can't win 'em all"; That others will not always agree with you; knowing when to draw the line; "to everyone their own", so long as they're not hurting themselves or others. I am as guilty as everyone else but, how hard is it to ask of people to examine and continue to re-evaluate how they deal and receive others on a daily basis?

August 17, Sunday - extending a previous thought
At the same time we sit back and condemn the actions taken by others in life, what gives me, you, us, a right to judge what is wrong or right? Who- what is it, that gives us the laughable notion that we could even begin to IMAGINE that we have the ability to tell the difference between the shadows,shades, depths and degrees that hold together the ingeniusly complex world we live in?
