Official Word For Sip 4.5!
Hi i'm Mykee, the organizer/promoter for SIP 4.5. Yes everything that has been said about tickets is true, they are up to $25 right now in the stores, and it will be around $40 at the door normally. However, ppl with Van ID can get in for $25. But PLEASE TRY AND SHOW UP EARLY!
You can get to the party from either Ferry Terminal, both are about the same distance. From Swartz Bay you take the Pat Bay Highway south into Victoria until you reach McKenzie St. You take a right off the highway onto McKenzie, and follow it all the way west until you reach the Island Highway. You take a right (North) on that Highway and then you'll eventually reach our beloved Malahat which is a bit tricky to drive so BE CAREFULL! ESPECIALLY ON THE WAY HOME! You follow this highway all the way through many small towns such as Shawnigan Lake, Mill Bay, Cobble Hill and then finally to Duncan. When you start getting into Ducan before you reach the main core downtown strip, you want to take a LEFT BEFORE THE BRIDGE! If you've crossed the big bridge and passed the Donut Shop on the left you've gone too far. Im sorry I can't think of what the name of the street is right now but it will be on the infoline (DAY OF ONLY which is - 1-250-755-6455). Once youve taken your left off the highway follow it for about a minute or 2 and you'll see a hall on your left with a bunch of cars parked all over the place and ppl raving in the streets (ok im making that up but you never know!) and you'll know where to go from there! From Nanaimo Fery Terminal, im not so good at giving directions to the Highway from here, but it should be pretty self-explanitory if you just follow the signs out of town. Just make sure you're going SOUTH and not NORTH! you will actually have to go West first from the Terminal, to get to the highway and then you will go left (South) down the Island Highway. From the Highway you will pass through an airport on your left, and towns such as Ladysmith and Chemainus. From this way you will go through the downtown part of Duncan, stop here to get your food and raver supplies and then keep going down till you reach the bridge I was talking about before. Cross the bridge and then take your first right onto the road that shall remain nameless for now! From there you follow it a minute down and on your left is the rave hall! I wont be able to say all this in the info line so print this page and then call the info line if you need an exact address. If you have any questions or comments please email me @ [email protected] Cheers, Mykee @ Reliable Productions |

A number of things factored into me deciding to take a couple months off the scene...
And I have very little desire to attend SIP... for a couple reasons I guess... mainly the fact that there is only 1 DJ I have any real interest in seeing.... The rest of them I see at the clubs more often than not. |

whats the point in taking a break? and if you need to take a break why make such a big deal about it? rave till you dont want too, then stop. It's silly to plan breaks, you take them as you need them, i mean if you hate missing outdoor parties, go to them, if you don't want to go to sip then don't. Do what you want man, nobody else knows whats best for you.

i am starting to wonder if i am gonna make it out there. many things are starting to factor in here.
First no words from the boy's on the situation. Too well everything falls into the first problem. No wonder I never make it out to island parties |
