^^^^ Well said there Cint-ho..I've had everything happen to me from needles falling off...to the power going out...to the stage i was on colapsing. <<< that hurt...a lot. We do our best to put on the best show, preformance, entertainment we can. some times it's great...sometimes it's not so great... but the effort is made for the love of what we do and the music we play.

if you see some one OD then tell the promoter so that he can walk them a few blocks away and get them some freash air and call the ambulance and not mess up cool little venues...

RULE XX: NO PUKING ON THE FLOOR, BE CREATIVE ENOUGH TO FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO DO IT
RULE XX+1: Watch your friends. Don't let them go dropping like flies due to heat exhaustion, or do anything stupid they wouldn't normally do. Make sure they are safe and they will do the same for you. You are responsible for your friends. Don't like it? Don't party with dumb-asses. RULE XX+2: Don't use "Did you drop tonight?" as a conversation starter. It makes you look like you are one of those people who can only have fun high. RULE XX+3: DON'T HATE!!! Newbs are kewl too. They bring new stuff to the scene all the time. So what if you've been raving for years and years, newbs probably would have beeen to, they were just never introduced to it until recently, and soon enough they will be old school. Time flies. *** A word to the newbs. Don't go bitching about not having ID, no one who does cares. When you are of age and have ID, there will be times when you don't want to be hanging around with 16 year olds too. And last and MOST IMPORTANT!!!Have a little respect (This goes for everyone!!). #19: Wash your hands. The sinks handles can't be THAT dirty because EVERYONE's afraid to use the sink at a rave. So they gotta be ~practically untouched! After you piss, give your paws a scrub. Use the clean paper towels to ensure your cleanliness. You don't wanna go around touching things, people, cigarettes/joints, waterbottles, glowsticks, faces/other people's hands... with pee hands. It's just gross, and being clean just feels better.
#20: Don't be a snob. Listen fuckers. When you're walking down an empty hallway with about 2 others walking in the opposite direction, smile or say hi. Atleast make eye contact or SOMETHING. What's the point of avoiding contact? Are you some sort of asshole or superior being?! You're BOUND to run into those people again, if not at the party, than some other time in your life. Be a fucking person, and keep your eyes to the people. not the floor. Posers are losers in denial. #21: Speak Positively. When you slander anything, or talk in a negative way, you don't know who you're offending. 'i don't like trance' could get you into an hour long talk. Instead, be like 'I'm more into breaks'. Shut your god damned mouth instead of shit slandering people. And if you're going to shit talk, assume responsibility for the things you say. The world doesn't need to know who you don't like and why. Be Nice. #22: YOU ARE NOT THE SHIT. Who you know, and how important you are doesn't matter. One day you'll find yoruself at the door to a rave with a noob security guard who doesn't give a shit who you are. And if you're not level-headed about it, you're going to look like an ass. If you've heard the term 'don't bite off more than you can chew' well, make some sorta parallel that you can follow when it comes to the crap that comes out of your mouth. In regards to reputation, honesty in the rave scene is hard to point out, but it goes a long way. A helluva lot further than lying atleast. Your reputation will not cover up for your lies. #23: If you're going to start promoting, ask other promoters for tips of advice. Don't do a show on your own. You might lure some unsuspecting noobs to your party and your show might suck. And they might never come back to another rave. All of the bigger promoters in the city are usually supportive of other smaller companies who take the time to actually DO a party. So, ask them what you're doing wrong, before you do it. No harm in asking, only humility. And if you can't get past that, good luck flyering. Last edited by Mr Ektion; Nov 28, 04 at 01:32 PM. |

If you see a nammer death circle dont be afraid to join in, They are always happy to have another for the team or if you ever get the opportunity to meet the Fan Man, let him fan you down, what do you got to loose? Nothing beats an Invisible tug-o-war with Him...man that guy is strong for his age |
