and it wasn't an inexplicable reason Robyn... there was tons of hip hop that year including the Black Eyed Peas when they were nothin, and Ice-T. They were trying to integrate another underground type of music that is often listened to by people that listen to a lot of punk (i.e. skateboarders, snowboarders, etc.). Some other big named group whose name i cannot recall dropped out at the last second and he filled the void. Now you know, knowings half the battle... yo shmo.
