if you consider chet's thread "uncalled for", you should be deleting a good portion of threads on FnK. if threads like this: http://www.fnk.ca/board/showthread.php?t=65381 were not about godessa, but about "insert-cool-scenster's-name-here-who's-my-'friend'", they would be uncalled for as well.

whether your 'inappropriate' thread stays or goes is a function of status.
