Here ya go peeps... This is important enough to post all the venue details in The Lounge so you get there quickly and safely!

Keep in mind the dance floor area's will be completely under cover with large circus-type tents... You can never trust the weather so rain or shine, we are still good to go!

VENUE DIRECTIONS!

FROM VICTORIA:
- drive NORTH from VICTORIA
- you will drive PAST the NANAIMO AIRPORT
- you will drive PAST the BUNGEE ZONE sign/bridge/exit
- the NEXT SET OF TRAFFIC LIGHTS has a TEMPO gas station on the corner
- TURN LEFT at this intersection onto MORDEN road (fyi: tempo sells booze)
- at the next intersection TURN RIGHT onto SOUTH WELLINGTON ROAD
- drive along South Wellington Road (parallel to the highway heading north)until you get to MINETOWN ROAD
- TURN LEFT onto MINETOWN road
- drive over the small hill, its the FIRST DRIVEWAY on the RIGHT
- look for the MINETOWN CAMPSITE sign & glowing stuff

FROM NORTH of NANAIMO on the BYPASS
- take the LAST EXIT SOUTH after bypassing Nanaimo on the new highway
- stay in your LEFT HAND LANE (do not go into either of the 2 right hand lanes..these go to the ferry)
- you will pass UNDER the Duke Point Ferry OVERPASS
- you will drive PAST Fielding Road (on your right)
- move into the RIGHT HAND LANE and Slow Down!
- take your NEXT RIGHT onto MINETOWN road (Minetown road is about a 20 - second drive after the duke point ferry overpass)
- drive over the small hill, its the FIRST DRIVEWAY on the RIGHT
- look for the MINETOWN CAMPSITE sign & glowing stuff

FROM NANAIMO City Center and DEPARTURE BAY FERRY TERMINAL

- Drive SOUTH out of town
- Drive PAST Smitty's Pancake House (on your right hand side)
- Drive UNDER the big OVERPASS with the traffic lights under it
- stay in your LEFT HAND LANE (do not go into either of the 2 right hand lanes..these go to the ferry)
- you will pass UNDER the Duke Point Ferry OVERPASS
- you will drive PAST Fielding Road (on your right)
- move into the RIGHT HAND LANE and Slow Down!

- you will drive PAST Fielding Road (on your right)
- move into the RIGHT HAND LANE and Slow Down!

wow not quite as hard as i thought it would be to get there. there is now a 80% chance of me not getting lost=) i'm so pumped for lazer tag! i haven't played it since Funtasia closed down a few years back. i've been training for the sumo wrestling so watch out Kevin this won't be the easiest win you've had.

SHOUT TICKETS PULLED FROM ON DECK!

You read it right! Due to the HUGE demand for tickets on the island, we've had to pull what tickets were at On Deck and re-distribute them on the island.

We are down to the wire here... literally 5 days left until show time. PLEASE... all mainlanders get your tickets NOW if you haven't done so already. BOOMTOWN is the place to go to if you still need them and I believe there is a couple of personal ticket sellers as well.

If you are still thinking about going or not allow me to point out some reasons:
1.) Fully licensed 19+ drinking area
2.) Although the show is outdoors, ALL of the dance area's are totally covered with large tents.
3.) 27 DJ's playing for 12 hours on 3 stages crossing all genres
4.) Un-matched vibe/energy that will not find anywhere on the mainland
5.) FREE camping
6.) On-site attractions including mini-golf, laser tag, summo suit battles and a climbing wall.
7.) Discounted shuttle service for only $10 each way
8.) Quarterpipe skate demo and b-boy breakdancing competition.
9.) On-site food vendors

Even with travel costs, Shout will still provide you with some wickid value for your dollar.
