New to Vancouver and ready to party!

I'm from Toronto and there are raves and afterhours parties every weekend -- where do I go to have fun out here in the West?! It seems like things close down early (by 3am)!
Saw an ad for the big party at PNE on Canada Day long weekend and thinking of checking it out.

Don't know anyone out here (its just me and my man) so if anyone wants to show us a good time that would be great too!
