You are welcome to join the book club I am starting at the beginning of September, held every Wed. night. There will be finger food, beverages, and a new theme every week. If you have any fingers, that would be great. The more the better (they are usually eaten very quickly). I supply the blood punch with eyeballs and balled eyes (we mash up the eyes and I roll them into balls and cover them in icing sugar and peanut butter).

Our first book reading will from Oprah's list, which we will read through the eyes of others by lobotomizing them and connecting their optic nerves to ours. Hope to see you out!

there's a pretty fun night at lolbeca on weds, and tomorrow they're having tons of djs in. most of them lean towards the house side of things, but they're good lesser-known locals - there's a link on clubvibes but i know the lineup includes nigel ray, crown vic, emily to, nima, tyler lewis, and some others. plus it's no cover, cheap drinks, and within stumbling distance of the lotus if you come to your senses. ;)

ANYWAY.

Funny how things turn out.

I ended up going to the Lotus for a bit anyway.


We skipped the Lessie party, went to the Cambie for a bit, to watch the race and start drinking, then for some unknown reason, we went to the Dufferin, and we stayed there until I told my friends I couldnt stand being sexually harrassed any longer and we went to the Lotus.

^^ Hehe. I ended up calling work saying that I missed my last ferry (due to food poisoning) and couldn't make it in to work, so I hit up Big Trouble with a few friends. Had a great time!!
