Rules of shotgun are that you need to be in view of the vehicle and on your way in order to call it.

Calling it on the internet totally doesn't count.

And what kind of asshole hogs shotgun the whole way for an 8 hour trip?

Show me where those rules are written... besides I just called AK on that ride... the rules of the AK are different...

Found by putting "shotgun" into google and picking the fifth item (everything before it was about guns).

There is no crime greater than calling Shotgun on Monday in reference to the ride to the concert on Friday. Some people choose to play this way, and they are fools.
