Hey Pat.... just curious why you have to bust into every music thread to give your opinion on how much you hate said 'band'???

Your first mistake is thinking that anyone gives two craps about your opinion.
Your second mistake is even thinking that your opinion is worth something.
Your third is that you're from Surrey so even if your opinion WAS worth something we'd discount it anyways.

PS - Your fourth mistake would be taking me seriously. hahaha

I really like My chemical romance and have heard from people that they rock live but when i read reviews about their concerts I get mixed impressions. One review I read basically said the lead singer yelled fuck you to the audience atleast 10 times a song. As cool as that sounds, I rather hear the song lyrics minus the added explitives. have you seen t

Yeah I've seen them and I quite enjoyed the show... I didn't notice an abundance of cussing at the audience either....

WHAT? Ok this is definitely worth going to. No matter what people say MCR is a good band. I like their style and they're music is mmmm good.

I think they did it once or twice.... but if I remember right it wasn't directed at the audience in a negative way like 'fuck you guys'

Wasn't he doing the standard 'let's cuss out against authority' and all that other play to the crowd bull shit?

^ I agree...sure he may have been swearing...but it wasn't at the crowd...It's not like every other band does it.

The only band who really pissed me off because they WERE swearing at the crowd was Hole (the last time that Smashing Pumpkins came to Van...was that Edgefest of Summersault?). Courtney Love WAS putting the crowd down.

nah, this was different, he was being an asshole.might not have been them, but one of the bands. i'm all for swearing (fuck fuck fuck), just not swearing at me. i've been to lots of concerts, and every band doesn't do it.

I saw them at Warped Tour and Gerard was swearing but not AT everyone. He did get everyone to swing their middle fingers in the air. That's about it.

I think I might consider going, I've been listening to MCR mroe and more lately and I am feeling their vibe, it should be a good time, and the tickets aren't that expensive. I'm excited. Abotu the whole swearing thing, I think most bands do that these days...

hmmm... looks like Thrice won't be playing the Vancouver show. December 10th they're playing the "KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas" in Los Angeles. Tough break Vancouver. I wonder if they'll get a replacement...
