looking for a photographer

I am in the process of working on my website and am in need of a good, but cheap photographer to help take some simple photos. I have a studio space with a white backdrop, will come up with the outfits, styling props, ideas, beer (or refreshment and/or food of your choise) etc etc.

What I need is 12 pictures, each for every month of the year for a pin up calendar feature I am going to have on my website. Thats going to be alot of sets, but we dont have to spend hours and hours on it considering I will only -need- about 1 or two pics from each set.

I dont have much in the ways of lighting except some flood lights, so it would be great if you had some.. or maybe I can dig around for some lighting favours.

I am a starving artist that works part time at starbucks, so I really can't offer as much as a shoot like this would usually bring in. But I will chip in a case of beer, food, and maybe a reasonable pay that we can work out as well as some exposure (I plan on making this site quite big considering I need to make some damn money too).

what the hell is antm.... OOoh, yeah I was kind of dissapointed in those. Those weren't REAL pin up pics, they looked cute, but... a real pin up wouldn't pose with a car thats less than 30 years old muaha.

Its actually a calendar that will literally be on my site. I will be producing a calendar to sell, possibly even based on the same pictures but my website comes first.

if your starving for lights you can also use white boards as fill or even back lights if you have some strong house lamps and shit. may look makeshift but can get the job done

awww... too bad I'm way up here in McNeill - although there are some great opportunities for shots up here - some ideas came to mind, theres an old truck next door that's all rusted and has plants growing through it - it would be rad... (I've got to take a picture of it now!) -- and theres a spot in Port Hardy where there's old falling apart boats that are stuck up on the shore - would make for cool 'sea captain' kind of pin-ups! aaaand ... I haven't seen this yet, but apparently there is a wreck of a Royal Air Force airplane up near Port Hardy - the plane crashed in 1954 I think - so I imagine it would be quite an old plane - and a cool backdrop.

anyways, far too cold to be thinking of outdoor shots! wish I were closer! good luck on the calendar!

Mikey, he does really great work, I might be interested in getting him to do some more umm.. "substantial" pictures for my site too. I love his b & w. I'm really busy right now and bad at getting in touch with people but I'll try my best .
