Ride free on buses/skytrain on New Years

I haven't heard an announcement about this yet, but TransLink did it last year and the year before. I wonder if this will also be the case this year. I don't know about the rest of you but I'll be spending my last penny on alcomahalllllz (like patrick).

howzabout skytrains past 4am? that'd be pretty keen.

oh well, not a huge problem for me this year... 'tis nice to be stumbling distance from all the cool parties this year... 'tis too bad i'm probably not going to any of them.

no kidding.
skytrains until AT LEAST 3 on NYE would be nice.
no such luck.
the last one leaving waterfront for New West station is at like 1:10am.

i swear its a conspiracy with the taxi companies.

I love that busses are free on NYE.. :)
It'd be so nice if cabs would go a little on the cheaper side that night. But so never gonna happen, I'll just keep dreaming. lol ;)

Why would you need to have the skytrain running until after three? Once midnight comes, you ring in the new year and then head to bed, right?
