Favourite Childhood authors

The other day I was thinking about all the authors that I loved as a kid and then kind of grew out of, or they never released any other books and was wondering what authors fellow FNKers liked when they were kids

Here are some of mine:
Kit Pearson
J.K Rowling
The Stevie Diamond Detective Series
Eric Wilson

I am sure there are more :D

Let's see.... authors I read as a kid...

Shel Silverstein
Roald Dahl
Terry Brooks
Tolkien
Pierre Berton (Secret Land of OG) :)

J.K. Rowling is great but I was well into my 20's before the Potter Series was released.

My friend was from England and she sent me Harry Potter when it came out here in 1998 and so I read it when I was 12 or so

Roald Dahl is the one that sticks in my head.

R.L Stine kept me busy on boring days. I just cleaned out my books and found 20 of those babies. Gonna try to sell them as a lot on ebay lol.

Robert Munch for the good ol' days
