Ur skin is scratched and whatever it is they believe you could be reacting to in droppped onto ur skin...not alot just a very tiny amount. If your skin swells up after lets say some kind of grass(in liquid form coming out of an eye dropper) is dropped into the scratch then that means u are allergic to that certain type of grass.
I have tonnes of allergies!! it sucks....basically allergic to the outside world. Can't wait for spring ...:( |

yea..wheni had my allergy test. ihad to lie on my stomach with my shirt off and the doctor used a needed and made 60 1/2 inch small scratchs on my back.. and then put a drop of alllergens on each cut.. then you lie there and wait for about 30 mins while your back burns and itches from the allergic reaction to some of the allergens.. after 30 mins the doctor comes in and records which areas are the most red and affected and from that he can make a serium that will hopefully get rid of some of your allergies or at least make them a little bit more bearable.(sp) Then you will probly get about 2 needles a week to start.. once a week there after and then once a month.. I got allergy shots four 4 years.. over 300 needles.. you get used to it really quick.
