i was right beside the office when it happened. there was only 2 ppl in the room. and the odtopsie (sp?) said he did it to himself.

But the party was great. i remeber staying up all night making those fucking tickets....

I believe that was the last plaza party to happen for a while i didn't go but i remember i liked the flyer alot.
Does anybody know who threw that party?

Actually is was the female DJ from the island that was filling in for Lisa German who had the laser gloves, since she was the "Keeper of Light". (I forgot her name)

Ali from Deep Dish had pyro on the stage as well as those fake-flame things all over the venue (Keeper of Fire)

Sharam from Deep Dish had the fake snow (Keeper of Ice)

Not sure what crazy effects the other DJs had.. I think Mark EG had the "stargate" (round trussing with intelligent lights all over it.. and it moved!) doing stuff to his set. I just remember that John Smith was Keeper of Water, and Les Hemstock was Keeper of Air (don't remember them doing anything for his set, as the sun was up by the time he was on).

In my opinion, it was the best party in Vancouver ever, hands down. (Aside from the whole stabbing thing.. Reportedly the dude was on acid and mush at the time, which is supposedly what caused him to wig out and stab himself)

I was there, Deep Dish wasn't bad that night, and the indoor fireworks were crazy....good old Plaza Days....sigh...
