Shambhala?

I'm trying to convince some of my "never was a raver" friends to go with me.
Would people that aren't really into electronic music have a good time? I would hate to get there and listen to my friends bitch all weekend. Is liquor allowed?

as long as its not seen.. no glass is allowed and if they see your booze (like one idiot last yr who lost a whole cooler of beer) they make you dump it out. Pretty much its an out of sight out of mind sort of policy.

I havent looked at the line up yet either but I have been told there are other genera's of music there this yr like a couple cover bands and some r&b

Yeah , there is an ACDC cover band....i lied and convinced them there would be a " rock stage", but I imagine there won't be too many "real music" performances there.

I remember there was some nirvana cover band that was just brutal lol. Hopefully they have some better talent there this time round for anyone not really into electronica

Nirvana should never be covered. It's sac-relig. I'm checking out the shambhala website right now...looks like good times. Going to by tickets and book time off work on monday. Recruiting people to go is going to be the hard part.

def sac-relig. I couldnt even explain how bad it was. Even worse, it was in the morning when I was trying to sleep. It was like nails on a chalk board lol. Oh it is def good times. Make sure though that you bring some warm clothes though just in case it was like last yr. Must have been close to 30 during the day and around 5-10 at night. Personally was not expecting that for august

its cause were pretty much in the desert... super friggen hot during the day and super cold at night cause theres no clouds to keep the heat in..... its all about wearing swimsuit all day and layers at night... cause even though its cold.. once u start dancing u heat up......
