Digital Cameras

I'm looking into getting a new digital camera. Interesed in something small yet practical, 5-ish megapixels, price anywhere from $100 to $300, preferably a Canon. Any suggestions?

your on the right track, cannons are pretty good.

i have a powershot A510 with 3.2 mpixels, i dont remember how much it was, but im sure its alot cheaper now since its almost a year old,

i have the cannon powershot a75... older camera but fuckin awesome camera. I will support cannon to anyone who asks.

costco, and they have a good return policy to, the shutter was acting funny one day so i took it back and got a new camera, and this was after i had taken it to thailand for 2 months.

Totally forgot about Costco. I find they have to best deals and the most reasonable prices. I'll have to drag my dad there with me.

Black's has a nice A430, 4MP, 4x opitcal zoom, for $200.

i got a sony one, but after taxes and warranty it ended up being a little less than 400 bucks. good camera tho, worth it.

I STRONGLY recommend the Casio Exilim S500 or S600 ( 5 or 6 megapixels)

and those Casio cameras are nice but i'd be too scared to touch it. i tend to have the "chubby fingers" syndrom sometimes.

im kicking myself in the ass now. a couple of weeks ago they had the sd30 for $199 at future shop but i thought i'd wait a while and see if anything else tickles my fancy. i went back to future shop and its $399 now. *shoots self in the head*
