On a personal level I think that plastic surgery and peoples inclination to have some done is a product of the mass misogynism, superficiality and sexism still prevalent in our communities.
But at the same time attacking the women (or men) who have something done is reactionary and counter productive. Perhaps if discord was doing elementary school tours flaunting her boobs and convincing all the young women that its the only way to garner security, love and success, then there would be a basis for the level of attacks that have been issued in this thread. But I dont think thats the case. She got the surgery and what done is done. If you think you have something profound and non-hostile to share with her (perhaps based in personal experience) then share away. Otherwise I personally think its extremely negetive (especially in light of the fact that any succesful healing depends on a positive mindset) And on that point, DISCORD - why do you feel the need to post these kind of experiences with what amounts to a room full of perfect strangers? If you need support there are far more postive and encouraging channels to choose from. Nonetheless everyone of my female freinds who have had similiar surgery, have benefitted from a couple of bags of frozen peas, a supportive freind or two, and several good books and phat mix cd. pc.ez |

What she has done is nothing merely than surgery to fix a physical defect -- I guess the same as if someone had a cleft palate or someone else who was born with another physical defect.
HOWEVER, like many have posted, posting it up on a message board like this is bound to get several different responses whether she (or anyone else) likes the responses or not. She isn't dumb...she's been around long enough to know that posting something like that with that subject line ("new boobs") is going to give her some attention. And I guess we're just all feeding her that attention. I however am interested as well as to the difference it has made...not for the same reason the guys are posting...just to see how bad she makes the defect out to be and how it helped in the long run. Dont you have a girlfriend? Have some respect. Just so you know..Im sure she doesnt give a flying fuck if you appreciate her new tits or not. She got them for her, not for you. I always thought you seemed like a nice guy..but now..not so much. |

ooh Lauryn doesn't think im a nice guy anymore... what am I gonna do now?! *cries in corner*
But I STILL don't give a fuck about this Discord character because of her coming here, making a post and making it sound like she just got a pornstar boob job done - when she could have clearly stated that it was only done to fix a deformity. Read for yourself: Quote:
The question is WHY would anyone want to state that? And why would they not state the absolute truth by using reverse metaphors (I dunno wtf im talking about here but I meant some grammatical language shit by that) and word play to not say it directly? Why is her whole post about the fixing of her deformity made most people think she wanted to look like some XEV or ZEN fucking character and made us men think she did it to impress us? I don't give a damn about people who does stuff like this. They have something to hide by not being direct about it. I hope you like me now Lauren cause let me tell you - I may or may not be a nice guy, but I'm truthful and direct. If I don't like something - you WILL hear about it. Just like in this thread. |

I dont believe in attacking the girl, but since when did in-depth become a bad thing? People are far too shallow in this day and age. Direct honesty may be painful but ultimately healthy.
