Health question
I normally wouldn't be asking something like this but I decided I'd like to get some opinions on this before I see a doctor... cause after all it might be nothing.
Ok so five days ago, due to my stupidity, I dissolved an extremely bitter candy under my tongue and damaged the tissues under there. Now five days since it still hasn't gotten any better under my tongue - the tissues are swollen and ripped up from the extreme bitterness. Should I wait a bit longer cause it will heal itself or should I go see a doctor? |

if it turned into canker (sp?) sores the best thing is washing your mouth out with salt water- hurts like hell, but makes them go away. its what i tend to do most of the time with mine and it changes from a 6-8 day healing time to like 3 days.

Candy means candy - I didn't say anything else.
Anyway, for anyone else out there - just don't stick anything under your tongue for too long that is bitter or sour or just make sure to get rid of it once you start feeling it dissolving your soft tissue. |
