My best friend just started goin out with this guy... and we used to be (well, still are ish) together all the time...
now she's always over there... like she spent from thursday to sunday at his place. I understand she's totally liking him and everything, and wanting to spend time with him... And i am so happy for her, cause he's making her really happy, but... i'm selfish i guess...
I just miss her.. that's all...

how is that selfish, yo? it's human nature. don't beat up on yourself like that. Your friend is just in the initial stages of a relationship...give her time and before you know it, she'll be spending more time with you. Besides, you're gonna be there if and when she breaks with up with the guy.

Perhaps you should just tell her that you miss her and make plans to see each other more often

Like Twig Boy said, it ain't selfish of you at all to feel that way gurl. *hugs* That's a completely normal and justified reaction. Maybe you should let her know how you feel? Just talk to her about it...express your feelings. I just feel that too often, friends get caught up in relationships with guys, and withdraw from their group of friends. All they want to do is spend time with their new interest, and they neglect the other people closest to them. I'm guilty of that, but now I realise that it's not right at all. Friends are forever. Boyfriends aren't. Well, friends aren't always forever, but you know what I mean. :029:

addy. gahhhh i been there. felt that before too...

it honestly pissed me off and kinda got me jealous. its like.. in my head its like.. DOES OUR FRIENDSHIP MEAN NUTHIN TO YA? HUH HUH!???? ALLTHOSE TIMES I BEEN THERE FER YA WHEN YA NEEDED ME... ALL GONE FER THIS ONE GUY!?? HUH!??

but yah, without the clouded perspective, when ya think about it, like Twig-E sed, she goin thru the first "stage" of the relationship i think where it's all mushy and all is good and u juss wanna be round ur boy real often..

i assure u tho, when she realizes how much she's puttin off her friends (maybe even in a painful way) and once that stage is over with, she'll most likely snap outta it...

i feel fer ya tho.. it frustrated me lots too... :D

ur friends still newly absorbed into her world with her bf...give her time..she'll eventually come around....and if it gets too bad..then yeah..u gotta talk to her..i never talked to my friend and she drifted so far away..almost totally outta reach but she came back...i wishi had said sumthing before so there wouldnt' be so much lost time...*hugz*..ur not selfish..u just miss ur friend...chicks be fore dicks..(unless ur best friend is a guy..u knwo wut i mean..)..but yeah..hope stuff sorts out soon~:051:

poor poor addy.....haha did u really expect sympathy from me??? didn't think so... I understand ur friend though...when I was with karina and I would stay in and watch a movie with her or something my friends would tell me that I'm sellin them out....that was bullshit cause it was one night of the week.....but when ur as fun and cool as me ppl miss u.....maybe ur friend is cool and fun like me and it seems worse then it is.....

you know im always here for you addy.. im just a phone call away..were like sisters almost hehe you can call me .. or icq me.. like you did before.. cheer up.. i was in the exact same situation like you before.. but a bit different.. i feel that ive lost all my close friends because now they all have boyfriends and they have no time for me .. it really sucks.. i have noone to talk to about my problems.. and good things that happen in my life..their just way too busy =O*( .. well i understand about them spending time with their boyfriends.. but what about their close friends?

I know... she needs her time with him, and i'm cool with that. Me and her bf talked about it a bit before, and he's like, well right at the begining, couples are always together, cause they really want to get to know each other... and that's true. But, he told her that he doesn't want to come between us and stuff... (its like me and her are goin out... ha ha) he's a super cool guy that way, and i'm genuinly happy that they found each other... i guess i'll just have to be the stupid damn tag along!!!! ha ha...
