Spending More Time?

K, I've been going out with my GF for almost 2months. The last few weeks, we've haven't seen each other very much due to work, friends and her parents. We see each other, I mean in group situations, but rarely by ourselves. When we can see each other, her parents won't let her out.

Am I being selfish for wanting to see her more?? What do I do? How do I bring it up without making it seem like its her fault?

Is it her fault? Do you arrange those group situations? I would just bring it up, even if it does sound like her fault...at least she'd know that it bothers you (if she doesn't already). Also, I'd scrap the social outings whenever possible (which should be most of the time) and try to spend more time alone...

Oh yeah, and tell her to stand up for herself infront of her parents...or you should go over there and prove to them that you are worthy of dating their daughter.....

its not selfish at all
i mean if you need to see here everyday and call her every hour on the hour
then its selfish..
but just tell her that you love spending time with her and youd like to be with just her every once and awhile

tim i can totally relate............um yeah does ainslie ring
she basically had to lie to her parents to get out...."studying at a friends house" "goin to a movie with friends" blah blah blah.............as for the whole conflicting work schedules don't get to upset over that.............its the fact that u 2 don't get any quality time together, maybe take a weekend off and go camping or to the island or away somewhere, just the two of u.
btw do i know her?

I have yet to tell her. Gonna bring it up 2morrow, we're doing somethin in the morning.. then goin to watch XXX. (The Vin Dinsel movie, not porn.)

Yeah it seems like you should spend a bit more time together but then not too much cause thats not good either.
